Trolleys of goods arriving at the stalls in Ladies Market

As the morning wears on more trolleys of goods arrive at the stalls and start to mix with the first customers. Here a family of tourists watches while a trolley of clothing is moving into a stall. Although the stallholders may seem busy with their early morning preparations they are still open for business and you can feel free to approach one to see their wares or to ask for something specific you are looking for.

One thing you will find with shopkeepers in Hong Kong is that as they are mostly small holdings owned by the person you are buying from and they do not have strict opening and closing hours they will be interested at all times in making a sale.  So even if they are almost closed up or in this case they are not really open yet they will not mind at all if you ask to buy something, even if they do have to hunt through the boxes that are still packed up.
